What to do about Failed Education Systems?

November 28, 2012 (via AltThaiNews) For the Southeast Asian nation of Thailand, the results of the annual "Global Index of Cognitive Skills and Educational Attainment" are hardly surprising - and many of the conclusions drawn by the study's authors, while intuitive, seem to have been lost on the current ruling government in Thailand. What does the study tell us, and what can be done about chronically decaying education systems, not only in Thailand, but around the world?
